We start inside the actual work — the drawing set on the estimator’s desk, the invoices piling up in the kitchen, the corpus of documents nobody has time to read. Systemize
You can’t reliably augment chaos — so the work gets standardized first, often for the first time in the company’s history, and the system gets built against that standard rather than the messiest version of current practice. The architecture is always the same: deterministic code does the measuring and the math, AI reads the messy inputs, and every human checkpoint is designed in, not bolted on. Everything is instrumented, because the next phase needs real data.

Evolve
A system isn’t done when it ships; it’s done when it holds up against reality. We calibrate outputs against the expert’s own real-world results and keep adjusting until they agree — then keep measuring, because drift is a when, not an if. The loop doesn’t end: each cycle surfaces the next thing worth improving, and the people running the system own the method by the time we step back. That first calibration has a name: the Mirror Test — the system hands your expert back numbers they already know are true before anyone relies on it for new ones.
