Practical write-ups on the questions owners actually ask us: how accurate these systems really are, how to tell an impressive demo from a correct answer, and what an AI assistant says about your business when you’re not in the room. Verified numbers, our own methods shown in full, and honest about the competition.
Customers now ask an assistant before they search. Those answers get assembled from a public record most owners have never read — and the seven things that decide whether your name comes up at all.
Plenty of vendors quote an accuracy number. Almost none show what it was measured against. Here is ours — with the method, the baseline, and the limits.
In 2026 nearly all of them have AI, so that no longer separates them. What you’re actually buying does — including where each one beats us.
The costs you can see are rarely the expensive ones. What reading 43,501 real orders surfaced — and why the system labeled its own best finding medium confidence.
Conceptual estimating decides whether a project proceeds. What we measured — −0.2% against six sealed bids — and the three limits on that number.
Everything here follows the same rule the products do: no figure appears unless our own engagement records support it, clients stay anonymous unless they’ve said otherwise, and when a competitor does something better than we do, we say so. If you find a number here you think is wrong, tell us — we’ll correct it or show our work.
Most vendor content in this category exists to make a category sound inevitable. These articles exist to let you check a claim — including ours. Each one takes a question a buyer actually types, answers it in the first paragraph, then shows the method and states the limits, because an accuracy figure without a baseline is a marketing number and we would rather not publish those.
That means several of these pieces argue against our own interest in places. The takeoff-accuracy article explains what the missing 2.5% represents and why an aggregate can hide per-line error. The software comparison names competitors and says where each one beats us. The profit-leaks piece labels its own headline figure as opportunity identified rather than money banked, and explains why the system marked its own confidence as medium. None of that is modesty — it is the only way a number is worth anything to you.
If you are evaluating any AI vendor, including this one, the most useful thing here is the Mirror Test: run the system against a job you have already completed and priced, and compare line by line rather than on the total. It is written so you can use it against us.
The fastest way to find out whether any of this applies to you is to put one thing you already trust in front of the system and see what comes back.
